A peculiar logo for a different sport

The golden circle including the logo represents the top medal desired by all athletes; the medal is only partly shown, not being the goal but the environment within which is inscribed the endeavour and the aim of the team.

The light blue colour of the circling script, in block capital to underline the importance of the enterprise, wonderfully matches the colours of Italian sport, of the clear sky and of its reflection on snow and ice. The background colour inside the logo recalls snow and ice, winter elements which are coloured again by the gilded flares of the rhombic acronym TPRST; lozenge is the common geometric form identifying all HAM radio associations, and this is the reason why gold colour has been chosen.

Ice white of the lozenge background is a further characterization of winter season, being also the colour of purity and loyalty. Two scarlet letters engrave the logo with the force and passion needed by the team to face their daring task, while the different size of the central fonts remarks once again equality and difference, two acting and interpenetrating conditions.
